Minimum Skills Required:

  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with an information database.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise, multi-task and meet established deadlines.
  • Understand and critically appraise scientific literature
  • Ability to communicate medical information to varying audiences
  • Ability to apply strong critical thinking skills and asks appropriate questions to lead to alternative innovative ideas or quality results.
  • Able to organize multiple activities at once to accomplish individual and departmental goals, while using resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Committed to continuous improvement
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders
  • Accredited Medicines Australia Code of Conduct training relating to review of promotional materials.
 

Knowledge / Education Required:

  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences
 
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the provision of drug information to healthcare professionals.

Quality, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Meet the requirements of ISO and Class A by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.
  • Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.
