Responsible for providing integration architecture in support of various application areas in US Commercial Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Organization. Define solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns, automating business process models and cloud based services. Act as the architect to define integration patterns for the purposes of creating reusable assets within the BTS architecture.  Collaborate with enterprise architecture group and define integration architecture over multiple projects. Responsible for integration architecture that include working with cross functional team to help implement   best practices, and web services standards .  Architect will analyze business and technical problems and develop the appropriate SOA framework to incorporate Master Data, event driven and batch processing entities to the master service bus. 

 Anticipates IT and industry future directions and relates trends and best practices to future integration architecture requirements and projects.  Interfaces across the BTS Organization acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for ensuring interoperability and integration across systems. 

 Major Responsibilities:

  • Define and delivering integrated solutions by applying proven delivery methodologies including Agile and Model-Driven techniques

  • Develop reference architectures that facilitate information integration, interoperability, workflow automation and agility

  • Stay abreast of and evaluate emerging integration technologies.

  • Develop and publish technology standards, such as integration technologies, and Web Services standards

  • Translate user requirements into effective solution architectures.

  • Design message and event driven architectures

  • Partners with vendor and development teams to ensure build activities adhere to agreed service and technical architectures

  • Integration subject matter expert and advisor who creates best practices and ensures alignment with the future state integration reference architecture.

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science.

  • At least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing integration solutions

  • Hands on experience implementing Web Service Integration ( REST v2, SOAP) , API and micro services

  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing solutions based upon integration technologies (e.g.  Informatica RT , TIBCO BW, APIGEE, Kafka) 

  • Knowledge  in the following technologies preferred  Messaging , JavaScript, XML, JSON

  • Experience in  integrating Master Data Management Systems (MDM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus

  • Experience in architecture repository management, XML schema, and integration standards and protocols (e.g., SOAP, UDDI). Knowledge in SOA integration and significant experience in integration lifecycle and enterprise integration services.

  • Knowledge and experience in developing solutions compliant with regulatory and legal requirements within the Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus.
