Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • Lead the Brand Team and drive the strategic direction of the Brand in the target indications.
  • Know the market and work cross-functionally to generate long-term forecasts, and filing and reimbursement strategies.
  • Lead the development of the Brand Plan
  • Drive brand awareness and revenues and lay the necessary groundwork for future launches in Oncology/ Haematology.
  • Lead the tactical design and implementation of Marketing initiatives to include:
    o Innovative tactics for the local market
    o Multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns
    o Multi-stakeholder initiatives
    o Materials for conferences
    o Sales training pieces and initiatives
    o Internal campaigns and meetings
    o Ad boards and market research
    o Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
    o Local modifications, review and approval of materials
  • Budgetary responsibilities for ensuring promotional activities are within agreed spending limits
  • Select and manage external agencies required to support marketing initiative
  • Work with JAPAC and Global teams to deliver key initiatives locally as well as report on Australian insights and performance.
  • Engage with in-field team and customers in order to generate and synthesize insights
  • Ensure Brand Team Members contribute to the development of the Brand strategy through the Brand Planning process in line with strategy defined by Global Brand Team, and ensure adequate involvement of multiple functions as relevant for the Brand objectives.
  • Continuously encourage Brand Team members’ collaboration and foster team spirit.
  • Relevant experience with proven track record of success in marketing within biotech/ pharmaceutical industry on multiple brands
  • Strong knowledge of haematology and/ or oncology
  • Solid working knowledge in haematology and/ or oncology commercialization
  • Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actions
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional teams
  • Proven track record of successful leadership, management and coaching of teams and individuals
  • Solid working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape
  • Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledge
  • Solid knowledge on finance principles and processes
  • Professional, accountable  and collaborative team player
  • Flexible with excellent communication skills
  • Degree in business or science related field
  • Fully conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
