Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • At least 3 years of experience in areas of security processes and strong knowledge of site processes and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work and interact on a professional level is a must
  • BA or BS in a related field, MA or MS desired
  • 5 to 7 years (including law enforcement and military) with 2 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Prior public or private sector security experience
  • Operating or managing the following security systems: Lenel, CCure 9000, and or S2
  • Experience in overseeing Envoy Visitor management system or a similar system and daily operations of the vendor guard force
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Comfortable with liaising with Law Enforcement and other local first responder agencies
  • Experience in being a decision-maker, identifying security issues that may adversely affect employees on campus and using good judgement and discretion
  • Excellent investigative skills, while utilizing discreetness and confidentiality
  • Experience interacting with C-suite executives.
