Position will be hired based on level of experience. 

  • Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Neuroscience or closely related field with typically 8-10+ (BS), 5-8+ (MS) or 0+ (PhD) years of experience; Pharmaceutical experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency with standard cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, enzymology and neuroscience techniques including gene transfer methods, microscopy and high-content imaging, protein detection & quantification (such as ELISA, MSD, plate readers), and enzyme kinetic assays
  • Expertise with culturing primary neurons and iPSC-derived neurons and their genetic or pharmacological manipulation
  • Confirmed ability to design, execute and interpret critical experiments independently and to advance scientific understanding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to teamwork with a penchant to work efficiently and creatively in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Strong organizational skills that enable multitasking and working within timelines
