For nearly two decades, AbbVie Immunology has led the way in developing treatment options that address some of the world’s most difficult, unmet health needs. We continually build  in-market experience whilst focusing on development and introduction of  novel solutions and breakthrough therapies in immunology, for patients with difficult to treat diseases.

 

Our Product Specialist is responsible for transferring the Immunology value proposition by visiting key stakeholders and being the direct in field point of contact to the medical stakeholders / medical DMU. In a very dynamic multi-faceted competitive environment, you engage with field experts on a complex conceptual level, combining this with commercial initiatives.    


In this role you will be responsible for two different disease areas within the Immunology TA where you will cover either North or South Netherlands.

Your  responsibilities

Customer selling and relationship management

  • Deliver expected patient-oriented focus
  • Differentiates our value proposition to physicians and other stakeholders assigned.
  • Identifies, develops and maintains relationships with disease state experts and speakers/advocates.
Clinical and market development
  • Continuously strive to gain market intelligence/dynamics and developments.
  • Effectively manage 2 different disease areas with their treatments, products and market dynamics.
  • Good understanding of the multi-stakeholder environment with hospitals, health insurers, and others, and share new insights within in-field team and brand-team.
Territory management
  • Proactively initiates, develops and implements a growth/account plan to develop in current position and prepare for future opportunities
  • Responsible for the accounts/collaboration and cooperation with the infield and brand-team
  • Accurately identifies customer position on immunology treatment. Effectively targets and tracks resources including the implementation of multi-channel-solutions, to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Consistently achieves milestones and KPI’s as agreed with the Business Unit Manager to optimize the treatment and maximize sales.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably science/medical/business.
  • Relevant experience with proven track record of success in in field commercial role in healthcare, preferably within pharmaceutical industry or medical devices industry, in a highly competitive environment.
  • Identifies and understands policies, protocols and the political environment of institutional accounts that may affect the work within healthcare.
  • Preferably knowledge or existing network in hospitals in immunology.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment and evolving landscape
  • Experience in innovative thinking
  • English command in speech and writing.
