Act as an Internal Account, Project and Delivery Manager to the IFEx team and more broadly to the InField Teams, providing a seamless link to internal IT service providers and project managing external service vendors on IT projects.  Works in close collaboration with Infield teams from Commercial and Medical functions and with Commercial/Marketing Excellence to bring an educated, externally-focused perspective on the trends and advancements in IT relevant to the Infield Teams.  Shapes and influences brand and functional strategies to actively impact key initiatives.
• Proactively suggest ways in which IT can improve customer engagement, challenging existing processes, policies and perceptions and offering alternatives to traditional tactical approaches by collaborating with functions such as Customer Excellence
• Proactively inspiring Commercial teams with the 'art of the possible’ by bringing to life relevant technologies and showcasing their potential through internal and external pharma and non-pharma examples of best practice
• Provide coaching/supporting to ensure that IT solutions are being used to their full potential from implementation stage onwards
• Enhance the user experience by systematically capturing feedback, exploring opportunities to drive efficiencies, and continually improving processes, systems and solutions
Evaluate local Affiliate needs against available Global, Regional or other reusable Affiliate solutions for best fit.  Implement local solutions if no pre-existing solution is available or fitting.
• Provide an expert and autonomous service to manage internal and external vendors, driving delivery of unique local solutions, on behalf of the Brand/Functional IFT
• Implement Innovative, flexible and customisable end-to-end services enabling Commercial teams to build stronger engagement with key customers
• Engage and partner with Global and Regional IT organizations to influence and implement a broad IT strategy, providing Affiliate input in the formulation and revision of the Global and Regional IT strategy and adopting, implementing and localising Global/Regional strategies applicable to the Affiliate.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • The Business Relationship Manager (IFT) is responsible for partnering across the affiliate Brand Team(s) to assess the critical success factors for the brand(s) and deliver IFT solutions which help the brand deliver their strategies using Business technologies as enablers.
  • The person is responsible for adopting and applying the vision, strategy and the digital blueprint for WE&C and EEMEA to their brand’s CSFs and business case creation with clearly articulated brand value proposition.
  • The individual must have a good understanding of the legislations and regulations governing pharmaceutical industry and identify solutions that are compliant with the legislations.
  • Business Acumen:
    o Understands the pharmaceutical industry, key stakeholders and the challenges faced in delivering overall quality of life for patients.
    o Ability to engage with business partners in a “business outcomes and challenges” conversation and not just a technical conversation.
    o Engages senior business leaders in the definition and development of Solutions targeted at IFT enablement which help differentiate AbbVie as a pioneering Patient Centric organization.
    o Anticipates and recommends technical solutions to business problems.
    o Provides accountability for effectiveness of systems solutions relative to business requirements.
    o Ensures that BTS solutions meet the needs of the business and complies with defined lifecycle and standards.
  • Strategic Thinking: 
    o Understands challenges and opportunities which can be addressed by leveraging existing solutions or tangible innovative solutions and help generate true insights for incremental and disruptive business improvement.
    o Assess individual affiliate IFT tactics to ensure relevance to business outcomes, identify commonality in the needs and recommend existing solutions that can be leveraged or co-creation of solutions with affiliates – if a solution does not exist.
    o Partners with key stakeholders and uses understanding of business to drive the focus on external stakeholder technology solutions, including measurements of outcomes and KPIs.
    o Aligns department priorities appropriately, determines critical success factors, evaluates and pursues initiatives based on fit with strategies. 
    o Champion change and innovation with the marketing and strategic functions to enable differentiation with the use of digital solutions.
    o Stimulates creativity and innovation in others. Open to new ideas. Supports those who initiate change and take risks.
  • Project Delivery:
    o Assesses the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect projects working with division or senior/executive management and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
    o Leads project managers and teams in developing and executing a program plan ensuring that authorized resources are obtained to make certain that all activities are performed.
    o Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Brand Executive management.
  • Relationship Management:
    o Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels across the company
    o Identified and acknowledged as the single point of contact for all BTS needs for their brand team(s).
    o Responsible for maintaining
  • 8+ Years of experience in development and delivery of technology solutions.
  • Past working experience working as solution specialist/business consultant for pharmaceutical front office solutions.
  • Experience working closely with key business leaders to define digital blueprint and associated strategy for pharmaceutical companies.
  • Strong understanding of emerging technology trends and their applicability in B2B and B2C environments.
  • Preferred Experience:
    o IT experience supporting commercial functions
    o Knowledge/Experience of emerging trends in Pharmaceutical industry
    o Knowledge of Developed and developing markets
    o Prior Experience developing and delivering digital blueprint, strategy and LRP.
