Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working in a Global Organisation where IT is a global matrix organisation. The ability to participate and influence within this type of organisational model is fundamental to this role.

  • Experience of implementing In Field applications in partnership with business colleagues to deliver MCM, CRM, CLM and Business Analytics tools in an effective and timely manner.

  • Experience in utilizing technology to and co-creating solutions geared to external stakeholders including patients, providers and policymakers to ensure a truly differentiated and improved overall quality of life for patients.

  • This role requires a professional person who is educated to degree standard and has a proven track record in the role or an equivalent one.

  • This experience will include leading and managing IT project teams in a high-pressure task focussed environment.

  • Experience of implementing and/or managing ITIL practices and methodologies, preferably including qualified to Manager’s accreditation.

  • Experience of working in a ‘quality’ environment, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.

  • Proven experience of leading Technology teams, delivering quality solutions and working with business partners at all levels of the organisation.

  • Be a strong Business relationship Manager, the individual must be able to network and partner with key business leaders at area, region and affiliate level to better articulate, inform AND integrate the value of Business Technology solutions as a key business lever and therefore must require strong listening, challenging & influencing skills.

  • Experience in building out a technology strategy for emerging markets is preferred. Where necessary be able to determine how global/regional solutions partner with local for optimum business success.


Educated to degree level or equivalent; either technology based or with subsequent IT/Technology specific qualifications.
