AbbVie is looking for people who are passionate about solving business problem. In this spirit, this specific role in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) requires eagerness to learn emerging technologies and relating the business problems to innovative technology solutions.


This role requires a variety of strengths and skillset, including:

  • Proficiency in general purpose programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, React

  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps culture

  • Understand Cloud development and ability to connect on-premises technology to cloud offerings

  • Experience keeping track of work using project tracking tools like GitHub, JIRA and Confluence

  • Collaborate with other developers to review code for best practices

  • Able to articulate well


  • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience  in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience
